Rev your engines for an action-packed automotive celebration at the Tulsa Air and Space Museum’s Mazda Car Show, celebrating rotary-powered vehicles. This event offers something special for car enthusiasts as well as families seeking something out-of-the-ordinary!
Highlights from the Rotary Car Show
Mazda and rotary engine enthusiasts can look forward to an incredible show at the museum this month: they are hosting the Rotary Engine Car Show where you can interact directly with some of your favorite Mazda models as well as discovering some lesser-known ones, all powered by these extraordinary engines. For Exhibitors:
To display your rotary-powered car at the museum, follow these steps:
1. Access the museum via gravel roads on both south and west sides – referring to your map for direction 2.
Make sure your car is on site by 9:45 am to make sure its entry fee of $10 can be collected upon arrival, or contribute candy for Trunk-or-Treat which takes place from 11 am to 1 pm.
Every car on display will receive two wristbands that grant them access to both the museum and planetarium.
Come compete in the Chili Cookoff for your chance at becoming the best chili chef and earning bragging rights! Cooking begins at 8 am and must be created from scratch on-site – each cooking station entry fee will cost $25 with an additional $4 fee per cook.
Are You an Enthusiast of Good Chili (Museum Guests):
Looking for some excellent chili? Purchase a tasting kit for only $5 and have your say in selecting the winning chili at 1 pm on Saturday, February 9th until it runs out! The event begins promptly at that time.
Trunk-or-Treat for kids of all ages:
Bring the little ones for some Halloween fun this weekend from 11 am to 1 pm at Trunk-or-Treat! They’ll enjoy filling their baskets with candy from trunks of rotary engine cars! For directions and inquiries please call (918) 834-9900 (Monday closed / Tuesday to Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm), with special opening hours on Mondays from 10:00 am – 4:00 pm (closure on holidays may apply).
